I’m glad to hear that Eric, Chase, and Chris are all doing well. I’m doing great, we had an amazing Monday last Monday night.... first off, we were talking to 2 kids and their less active father... before we even started the lesson, the 2 kids asked if they could be baptized and come to church that Sunday... when we heard that, both my companion’s jaw and mine dropped as we sat there stunned... just goes to show that the elect are everywhere so make sure you check all the areas. Our members have been slacking BIG TIME on bringing non-members to dinners and to having us over to teach nonmember lessons.... We teach a ton of less active and members at this point. We only have 6 investigators....which is not a big number.... considering that they bail on us last min. We have been teaching about the atonement and our Heavenly Father’s love for us. We just got back from the beach over in Kent Island with our district. It was alright, kind of weird not being able to go swimming.... But that’s totally fine because the water’s probably freezing!
We had Stake Conference on Sunday, and Elder Richard G. Scott of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles spoke. He spoke on how important females are, and that all men should treat them with the utmost respect, including opening doors, etc. Other talks were on the importance of family prayer and scripture reading/study. Have y’all been doing that? If not.... will you read scriptures as a family and pray as a family daily?
